Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of dfwpoolleakdetection.com (the "Site"), operated by Local Network Services as DFW Pool Leak Detection ("we", "us"). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these terms.

1. What we do

DFW Pool Leak Detection is a free referral service. We receive requests for pool and spa leak detection, plumbing line leak detection and pool leak repair services and pass them to independent third-party contractors ("Providers"). We are not a pool, plumbing or leak detection company. We do not perform, inspect, supervise, control or warrant any work.

"DFW Pool Leak Detection" is the name of our referral service. It is not the name of a contractor, and no Provider is our agent, employee or representative. Providers may pay us for referrals.

2. Providers are independent

Providers are independent businesses, not our employees, agents or partners. All quotes, contracts, warranties and invoices are issued by the Provider directly to you, and any price, schedule, payment or service is solely between you and the Provider. Each Provider is solely responsible for its materials, personnel, licenses, permits, safety practices, insurance, warranties and the quality and safety of its work.

We do not screen, verify, inspect, rate or endorse Providers, and any information we receive or pass along about a Provider is not a representation of its qualifications, licensing, insurance or workmanship. We do not guarantee that any Provider will respond, provide a quote, be available, or meet your requirements. You are responsible for evaluating any Provider before hiring them, including confirming licensing where required, insurance, references and pricing.

3. Your information and requests

You agree to provide accurate information. When you submit a request, you authorize us to share it with Providers, who may contact you by phone, text message or email about your request, as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not submit a request for someone else without their permission.

4. Information on the Site

Content on the Site, including descriptions of services, methods and factors that affect cost, is general information only and may not reflect any particular Provider's products, prices or methods. It is not legal, safety, professional or engineering advice, and we make no representation about what any city, HOA, manufacturer, insurer, agency or law requires or permits for your property. Water loss can have several causes, and some repairs involve plumbing, electrical or structural work; have a qualified provider evaluate your pool, and check with your city about permits. Images are illustrations, not photos of specific projects.

5. No warranties

THE SITE AND OUR REFERRAL SERVICE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY PROVIDER OR ANY WORK, PRODUCT OR SERVICE A PROVIDER SUPPLIES.

6. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNERS, OFFICERS AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, DELAY, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER LOSS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO ANY PROVIDER, ANY PRODUCT, ANY WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED, OR YOUR USE OF THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR OUR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from your use of the Site, your dealings with any Provider, or your violation of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

Do not submit false, fraudulent or spam requests, interfere with the Site, or attempt to access it by automated means except as allowed by our robots.txt file.

9. Changes and termination

We may change or discontinue the Site or these terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
